“This project strengthens Service-Learning (SL) as an innovative approach in European higher education to specifically foster competences for democratic culture. By connecting academic learning with civic engagement, students, civil society actors, and institutions are empowered to actively contribute to a vibrant democratic community.
The project will develop a framework for effective Service-Learning practice, followed by the implementation of pilot projects—utilizing art-based methods, information verification, and strategies to bridge social divides, among others. In addition, practical training materials will be created for educators and community partners who wish to effectively integrate Service-Learning into teaching and curricula.”
